"I look in the mirror
What do I see?
I see my power,
My ability
I see tenderness,
Righteousness
Optimism &
A bit of fear
I guess..."

I see an artist. I see a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend (of opty64; he is love!), a best friend, a seeker of knowledge, wisdom, faith, and love.

I use this journal not to discuss my art, but to express myself in words and to rant if necessary. Above all else, this a space where I tend to be as open and honest as possible. I whine, I complain, I bitch and moan...but I also willingly share my joy and my love and the things that make me smile with those I choose to invite into this space. If you friend me, please comment, as I'd like to know who is here...

"I am a girl
I am a woman
I am connected
To the earth and the sky
I know the secrets
They only dream of
I love myself & I’m gonna tell you why..."

I've been described as transcendent, creative, strong, expressive, amorous, sensual, loving, soulful, radiant, and ebullient. Granted, this is not always how I see myself... I am shy and gregarious, a wee bit flirtatious, highly sensitive and emotional, inquisitive, open minded, and accepting.

Bisexuality is Real.

I am a queer, polyamorous, pro-choice, pro-comprehensive sex ed, anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-prejudice, liberal dreamer. I believe willful ignorance and hatred should be punished, and that one should live life pursuing knowledge and actively striving for growth, harmony and balance. I am exploring myself and my faith, and I honestly believe that if everyone just talked to everyone else we could all learn from each other and become infinitely better people...

I love art, books, music, movies, dolls, toys and video games. I'm a rabid, shameless Nintendo fangirl, and hope to someday own all of the systems they've made thus far...I love all things Mario; in fact, my childhood nickname is Yoshi! I have American Girl (AG) dolls: Addy Walker (1860s), Cassie Logan (1930s), Sonali Matthews, Kanani Akina, and Tessa Kei McConnell (fka Jess) (modern). I post photos, I bitch about fandom, I post about things I want...get used to them. Oh, I like plushies too, and Disney.

Oh yeah, if you would like to get me shiny new books and stuff: My Amazon.com Wish List

"My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all."
— John Lennon
